Connecting Raypak equipment
Raypak splits sharply. The Protege pump has the most completely specified Modbus interface of anything on the pad. The heaters are the opposite: dry contact only, and every one of them is damaged by feeding voltage into the remote terminals.

Raypak Protege VSP Pumps
Modbus RTU on a four-pin SP1310 connector, with Raypak publishing the baud rate, slave address, function codes and cable spec outright.
Raypak Gas-Fired Heaters
Models 206A, 266A, 336A and 406A. A seven-pin remote connector that supplies its own 24 VAC — feed voltage in and you destroy the board.
Raypak Low NOx Heaters
Models 207A, 267A, 337A and 407A. Same remote interface as the gas-fired range, with the differences that matter called out.
Raypak AVIA Heaters
Models 264A and 404A. Ships with a three-wire remote harness. Read the note on RS-485 before promising a bus connection.
Raypak Crosswind Heat Pumps
Inverter 30-I to 65-I and on/off 40-O to 65-O. Two wires on terminals 5 and 6 once the factory jumper is out.
Raypak Crosswind V Heat Pumps
The TWPH range. Documented as far as the sources allow, with the gaps named rather than filled in.
