Raypak Low NOx Heaters
Models 207A, 267A, 337A and 407A. Electrically these share the gas-fired range's remote interface, so the wiring and the activation sequence are the same. This page covers what is worth knowing separately.
| Step | Detail |
|---|---|
| Connector | Supplied seven-pin connector, wires landed before it is plugged in |
| Heater supplies | 24 VAC out on the blue conductor — never feed voltage in |
| Module output | H1 or H2, wired COM and N.O so it rests open |
| Activate remote | Hold UP and DOWN together for 3 to 5 seconds |
| Confirm | Display reads Remote; keypad mode and temp buttons go dead |
| Cable | 22 AWG under 30 ft, 20 AWG shielded over 30 ft, 200 ft maximum |
When it does not fire
| Symptom | Where to look first |
|---|---|
| Contact closes, nothing happens | Remote operation not activated. |
| Board dead after wiring | Voltage was fed into the remote terminals. |
| Heater stops short of setpoint | Its own setpoint is limiting. Raise it if the module owns regulation. |
| Keypad unresponsive | Expected in remote operation, not a fault. |
