Raypak Crosswind V Heat Pumps
The TWPH range — 4550, 5550, 6550, 6550EHC, 8550 and 8550EHC. This page is short on purpose: the Crosswind V is a different product from the Crosswind documented alongside it, and its own manual is not among the sources this documentation has verified.
Models in scope

- TWPH 6550 and 6550EHC

What applies regardless
A few things are already settled by the rest of the system and by how heat pumps behave, and they can be planned around before the manual is in hand.
- H1, H2, AUX1 and AUX2 are the module's only dry relay contacts, so a dry-contact heat call will consume one of them.
- If it turns out to be a bus device, one device per PORT — every PORT is a single shared channel.
- Expect a compressor restart delay of several minutes and do not retry aggressively into it or report it as a fault.
- The filter pump must keep running while the unit runs and for a period after it stops.
- Decide whether the water setpoint lives in the app or on the unit, and make one follow the other.
