Moov TurboSilence and Inverter Heat Pumps

The MR, MI, MTS and MIC ranges. This page is deliberately short: the pumps are documented from Moov's own manuals, but the heat pump control interface is not something this project has confirmed yet, and heating wiring is the wrong place to guess.

Models in scope

  • TurboSilence: MTS50, MTS65, MTS90, MTS110, MTS140
  • Inverter: MR550, MR650, MR750
  • Inverter: MI500, MI650, MI650X, MI900, MI1100, MI1400
  • Inverter: MIC500, MIC650X, MIC900, MIC1100, MIC1400

What will apply regardless

Whatever the interface turns out to be, a few things are already settled by the rest of the system and by how heat pumps behave, and they are worth planning around now.

  • One device per PORT if it is a bus device — every PORT is a single shared channel.
  • H1, H2, AUX1 and AUX2 are the only dry contacts available if it turns out to need one, and a Moov pump on digital inputs would already have consumed them.
  • Expect a compressor restart delay of several minutes; do not retry aggressively into it or report it as a fault.
  • The filter pump must keep running while the heat pump runs and for a period after it stops.
  • Decide whether the water setpoint lives in the app or on the unit, and make one follow the other.
