Madimack inverCHLOR Salt Water Chlorine Generator
Before anything else on this page: Madimack's own installation manual lists the inverCHLOR's RS 485 port as future provision only. Read that as it is written, and verify against the unit in front of you before promising integration.
What the unit actually offers
The inverCHLOR is closer to a small controller than a passive chlorinator. Its ports let it drive a pump and take a call from a heat pump directly, without an automation system in between — which is worth understanding, because it may already be doing some of the job the module is being asked to do.
| Port | Name | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Power Input | AC power, 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz |
| 2 | Pump Output (low voltage) | Pump comms — uses the Digital Input 2 wires to drive an InverFlow |
| 3 | Doser (optional) | Connector for the optional acid feeder |
| 4 | RS 485 | Future provision only |
| 5 | Cell Power Output | Feeds the cell. Missing this gives an E1 or E3 error |
| 6 | AUX (Heater) | Takes the heat pump's comms cable for the pump call function |
If it is left standalone
Until the RS-485 port is usable, the practical arrangement is to let the inverCHLOR run its own chlorination while the module owns everything else. That means the cell output is set on the unit and is not visible in the app, which should be explained to the customer up front rather than presented as a fault later.
